A township, comprising nine roofed buildings, two of which are long buildings, one unroofed long building, three unroofed structures and five enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Buteshire {Island of Arran} 1869, sheet ccliii). Eight roofed buildings and two enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1980).
