A village, comprising twenty-three roofed buildings and one unroofed building annotated 'Ruin' is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Fife and Kinross 1855, sheet 19). Twenty-eight roofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1993).
