NJ41SE 17 472 138.

(Location cited as NJ 4720 1380). Air photography (AAS/78/9/RS/14, 18-19, AAS/83/10-11/R27/7-11 and AAS/84/8-10/R20/4-5, flown 25 July 1984) has recorded the 'slightly comma-shaped' cropmarks of three possible souterrains in arable ground at an altitude of 235m OD.

NMRS, MS/712/46.

Cropmarks have revealed at least three comma- or crescent-shaped marks, indicating either the sites of souterrains or ploughed-out round-houses, in this cultivated field, which slopes gently down to Red Myre, an area of poorly-drained, low-lying ground immediately SW of Wester Sinnahard steading (NJ41SE 91). Nothing is visible of any of them.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS), 29 February 2000.
