Oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 1995) show the remains of a farmstead, approximately 1.6 km NNW of Hempriggs House (ND34NE 7).

It is depicted as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxv), and it is shown as unroofed on the current edition of the 1:10,560 map sheet (1970).
