A crofting township comprising ten unroofed, six partially roofed and forty-two roofed buildings, one of which is annotated as a Smithy, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1875, sheet xxiv). Nine unroofed, three partially roofed and thirty-seven roofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
