A cairn, situated between an unnamed burn on the W and the enclosed ground of a farmstead (NH43NE 26), was noted during a pre-afforestation survey of Eskadale Moor. The cairn measures c.12m in diameter and c.1m in height and has a boulder kerb on the NE and two edge-set boulders at the 'centre'. The interpretation of two stone-built structures, at NH c.4978 3535, to the E of the cairn, is unclear.
