A farmstead comprising the fragmentary footings of three rectangular buildings and an oval enclosure is situated on the S bank of an unnamed burn to the ENE of a large, dilapidated, corrugated asbestos shed. One building (MENS97 1) which measures 11.8m by 3.1m internally, has a dished interior and lies parallel to the burn. Although there is no evidence of a lade, its location suggests that it may have been a mill. The other two buildings have been reduced by stone robbing and cultivation, and measure 11m by 5.3m (MENS97 2) and 9.6m by 5.3m (MENS97 2) overall. A large tree grows out of the bank on the S side of the enclosure.
