Aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1995) has revealed the cropmarks of three sides of a rectilinear enclosure, measuring approximately 17m by at least 10m, 110m NW of Libberton Mains farmsteading. A short arc of ditch intersects the N half of the enclosure, and an indeterminate cropmarking is visible immediately to the SE. A patch of rig and furrow runs NNW-SSE to the N, and does not respect the enclosure. Further linear cropmarks in the same field, narrower and more regular than the rig, are modern field drains.
