Edinmore is still occupied but no longer a working farmsteading. A farmstead, comprising three buildings ranged around a courtyard that was open to the N, is depicted here on three early 19th century estate maps (RHP 14262, RHP 14629, Mackinlay 1823). A single building, partly roofed, with a garden adjacent on the SW and a smaller building to the W, is shown on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map, (Buteshire 1869, Sheet CXCIV).

Information from RCAHMS (GFG) 27 April 2011.
