Air photography (AAS/98/01/CT, flown 27 January 1998) has recorded a series of fairly straight banks and walls running up the hillside towards thee enclosure NJ50SW 2, with which they may be associated. They are in part grass-covered, and the most northerly pair form a hollow way.

The area is under birch woodland and bracken on a moderate NE- or E-facing slope at an altitude of between 210 and 220m OD.
