An enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 3), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1992).

Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 23 June 1997.

This enclosure is only one of at least seven that constitutes a field system surrounded by large lazy beds. The enclosures are rectangular in shape, bounded by banks, and contain lazy beds running either from NW-SE or NE-SW, and at least one with both, producing a chequerboard pattern. All seven are located to the west of the possible head-dyke (NB46SE 55).

Information from RCAHMS (SMDG) 1 February 2005
