A township comprising forty-three roofed, one partially roofed, three unroofed buildings, several enclosures and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, Barra etc. 1880, sheet lxv). Twenty-eight roofed, thirteen unroofed buildings and several enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
