A possible charcoal burning platform (NMRS MS 738/31, no.71), on the N-facing slope overlooking the River Leven, was recorded by AOC (Scotland Ltd). It survives as no more than a drystone revetment, two courses high and measuring 4m from E to W. It has no apparent purpose and may represent the remains of a slumped charcoal burning platform.
