This bridge carries an unclassified public road (Balmuildy Road) across the Forth and Clyde canal.

Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 22 October 1997.

The bridge was undergoing refurbishment on the date of visit. The W carriageway ran across a temporary barrage over the canal. The ashlar abutments of the original bridge were in place, surrounded by concrete construction for the new bridge.

Visited by RCAHMS (MKO) 19 January 2000
