Bankhead of Teasses

This steading takes the form of a linear range which is orientated E-W and incorporates the house and the steading. The later addition of a detached cart shed and granary range, positioned N-S, forms an overall T-plan. There is also a later 1940s prefabricated building which has been re-used as a store. There was only a low level of agricultural use on the date of visit, but the site was generally in fair order.

Information from John Shaw and Graham J Douglas of NMS and RCAHMS respectively, Scottish Farm Building Survey, 1995.
