A possible charcoal burning platform (NMRS MS 738/31, no.19) was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by AOC (Scotland Ltd). The platform is situated on a S-facing slope and measures 6m by 5m. The S, or downslope, edge is built up to 0.4m in height and levelled into the hillside to a depth of 0.4m on the upslope, or N, side.
