(Location cited as NJ 967 672 and name as Sandhaven Mill). Early 19th century. A 2-storey and attic rubble building on an L plan, with kiln-vent of Aberdeenshire pattern. There is the skeleton of an 8-spoke wood-and-iron overshot wheel, about 2 ft (0.61m) wide by 10ft (3.05m) diameter. The two pairs of stones, now electrically driven, still grind oatmeal.

J R Hume 1977.
