A farmstead comprising two unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building, two roofed buildings and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Nairnshire 1871-6, sheet vii), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1978).

Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 5 August 1996.

NH 8764 4620 Site recorded during a desk based assessment and walk over survey. NH 8765 4623 The OS 1:2500 1st edition map Nairnshire Sheet VII/16 shows a limekiln at this location. No other OS map shows a limekiln at this location. No trace of the kiln was noted during the walk over survey. It is very likely that this kiln was associated with Andrian farmsteading.
