A building, - possibly a shieling-hut, lying on a slight knoll just above the footpath along theS-facing slopes of Glen Affric, was recorded during a survey of the West Affric estate by J Wordsworth for the National Trust for Scotland. The building, which is round-ended, measures 9m from E to W by 3m over drystone walls which are 0.75m wide and 0.4m high. A 20m stretch of wall overlying the building, extends down the hill to the path. It is fairly delapidated and is 0.7m thick at the base and 0.5m high where best preserved.
