The remains of this farmstead comprise two buildings at the foot of a S-facing hillside on the N side of the Droichs Burn. The larger building, to the SE, is completely engulfed in gorse and could not be measured. The smaller building, 30m to the NW, measures 7m ENE-WSW by 3.8m within faced-rubble walls 0.6m thick and up to 0.4m high. There is an entrance in the SSE side. Both buildings are depicted, roofed, on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Aberdeenshire 1869, sheet lxii), and the site is described in the ONB as 'a one storey dwelling house with office houses, thatched and in middling condition.'
