A village comprising sixty-one roofed buildings, eighteen partially roofed buildings, twenty-three unroofed buildings and a field-system of long narrow plots running N from the building fronting the road is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire and Cromartyshire 1880, sheet lxvi).

Sixty-six roofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1991).
