Tillicoultry railway station, which comprises two sidings, four roofed buildings, a crane and a turntable, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perth and Clackmannan 1866, sheet cxxxiv). At this time the railway station was the terminus of the Devon Valley railway as the connection, through Dollar to the E had not been built. The area of the station is still shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1978).
