RCAHMS (KB) 26 April 2000
An unenclosed settlement and linear features have been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1993, 1995, 1996, 2000) on level ground about 670m N of Newbarns. A scattering of crescentic and circular cropmarks probably represent the positions of roundhouses and souterrains. The settlement is crossed by linear cropmarks, some of which may be ditched boundaries.
