Of the small complex of miners' rows and a school at Blinkbonny which is depicted as roofed on the 2nd edition of the )S 25-inch map, (Edinburghshire, 1906) sheet X.12, only a brick wall and length of masonry survive. Much of the area has been made into a small car-park for the public as there are forest walks nearby.
