The air traffic control tower is situated on the N side of the main runway and SW of the main technical and adminsitrative sites.
The tower and associated buidlings form a Y-shped in plan structure. The tower is metal clad with the single storey buildings in brick. The upper glass viewing platform is octagonal. and the there is an external metal walkway immediately below the floor level of the platform.
