Description of the Manse. Letter from William Bryce (Minister) to the Earl of Morton. The manse which is situated 'in the heart of a dirty village' is damp 'especially during winter' and is therefore unsuitable to accommodate anyone recommended by either the Earl of Morton or Count Rumford.
