A plain two-storeyed block of late 18th-century date stands at the foot of Star Brae, NE of and parallel to the 19th-century frontage of Combie Street. The rubble masonry and dressings are of purple sandstone of local origin, similar to that visible in the cliff face SE of the Oban Distillery. A central passage gives access to the rear, where there is a forestair serving the first floor.
