A single unroofed building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xlii), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1964).

Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 23 November 1995.

Originally identified from cartographic evidence (the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xlii)) as an unroofed building, this structure has been re-interpreted as an enclosure during a pre-afforestation survey of Langwell-Rinsary Braes, Berriedale. It measures 14m from NE to SW by 7m with low, rubble and turf walls.
