(Socketed axe; Dungiven variant of Dowris type). Single find. Socketed axe, porous, originally green patina, trimmed, short haft ribs. Length 95mm, mouth 28 x 32mm, cutting edge 58mm, weight 240 gms. Dick Institute, Kilmarnock.
