Intermediate station opened 1 January 1858 by the Perth, Almond Valley and Methven Rly., closed to regular passenger traffic 27 September 1937 and to goods traffic 25 January 1965.

This intermediate station was opened (as Ruthven Road Crossing) by the Perth, Almond Valley and Methven Rly. on 1 January 1858. It was renamed Ruthven Road station by the London, Midland and Scottish Rly. in December 1938 and closed to regular passenger traffic on 1 October 1951.
