Only one corner of a building situated to the N of the Traboyack Burn, which is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ayrshire 1858, sheet lxii), was recorded during the course of a pre-afforestation survey by T Ward (NMRS MS 626/12, no.1). The surviving wall fragment is 0.5m thick and stands 1.5m high.

One roofed building with an attached enclosure and one unroofed structure, which is annotated Hay Ree, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ayrshire 1858, sheet lxii), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1980).
