Two unroofed structures shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1973), were both roofed (and so probably inhabited) in 1875 on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1875, sheet xviii). A third structure at NM 8557 6552 was not previously shown. They were perhaps part of a shepherd's holding as the sheepwash at NM 8565 6540 was described in 1875 as a sheepfold. These sites lie outwith the SSSI. This has been a desk assessment area.
