'Latterbannochy. A small farm house and offices, one storey high; the whole thatched, and in only middling repair.'

Name Book 1864.

The farmstead of Latterbannochy has been removed and the site now lies in arable ground. It is depicted as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire, sheet xcvi, 1867) 130m NE of Thorn steading (NN92SW 55). The stream that runs down beside the standing stones to the N (NN92SW 3 and NN92SW 4 ) may have served as a lade.

Visited by RCAHMS (RJCM, JRS), 10 November 1995.
