The cropmarks of a possible enclosure have been revealed by oblique aerial photography, in a field 350m NW of Newton farmsteading. It is roughly circular in shape with an internal diameter of about 20m to 25m. A possible second ditch is visible on the SW side of the enclosure and there are a number of indeterminate cropmarks and possible pits in the surrounding area.

Information from RCAHMS (KJ) 15 October 1999.
