Cathcart Snuff and Cardboard Mill, Snuffmill Road, built in the 18th century as Cathcart Meal Mill and altered to a cardboard mill in 1812 for Solomon Lindsay of Penicuik; snuff milling was added in 1814. A block of low single storey buildings, now partly ruined.

This watermill is situated on the E bank of the White Cart Water to the SE of the bridge NS56SE 39 and within the area of suburban Glasgow. The available map evidence indicates no associated weir.
