Aerial reconnaissance has recorded parts of all four sides of this Roman temporary camp, situated about 400m WSW of Logie Newton. Stracathro-type claviculae are visible in the N and W sides as cropmarks. The whole of the W side is known, some 320m, and parts of the other three sides, some 340m of the N side, 112m of the S side and 127m of the probable E side. This gives overall dimensions of about 320m by 410m, therefore at least 13 hectares (32 acres) in size, based on the transcription of aerial photographs.
Information from RCAHMS (RHM) 21 April 1998.
