The monument comprises a circular enclosure, probably the remains of a ditched enclosure, appearing as a cropmark in an arable field. The circular enclosure shows as a broad circular trace, suggesting that the ditch is quite substantial, and the mark is most pronounced on the W where it overlies over a freely-draining area at the edge of the terrace upon which it is situated. It measures about 30m in diameter. There is a possible smaller ring ditch adjacent to the S.

Information from Historic Scotland, scheduling document dated October 1993.

Classified by Aberdeenshire Archaeological Service as oval enclosure and ring-ditches.

NMRS, MS/712/17.
