All that remains visible of this mine is a partly demolished spoil tip and the earthworks of a railway siding which can be traced across the fields to the NE to its junction with the branch line from Dunfermline to Steelend.
Nothing is depicted of this mine on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map, (Fife & Kinross, 1856, sheet 35), or on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map, (Fifeshire, 1896, sheet xxxiii SE). However, by the 1915 revision of the 25-inch map (Fifeshire, 1915, sheet xxxiii.11), an abandoned railway siding is depicted leading to an area which includes an 'old level' (NT 0533 9226).
