Knockespock House, from late 16th century. Demolition of the extensive 1889 western quarters has restored some semblance of order to the ensemble. From the N and S the nucleus of two round towers of the original Bishop's residence peep forth, while from the N the ordered two storeys over basement of a plain 18th-century house are clear. 'An ongoing puzzle' (I B D Bryce).

I Shepherd 1994.
