An archaeological survey was undertaken in advance of an extension SW of Inveroykel Wood. No sites of archaeological interest were known, and none were recorded during the survey. The peat cover of 0.15m to 2m may mask all traces of prehistoric land use.
A copy of the survey has been lodged with NMRS.
