The remains of this farmstead comprise two buildings set at right angles to each other and a horse-gang. The horse-gang, with its shaft-hole still visible is set at the back of the W building. The S building has a cast-iron hooped fire-surround protruding from the debris at one end, and a range from the other end. The buildings are shown roofed on both the first and second editions of the OS 6-inch map, but the horse-gang is not depicted (Banffshire 1872, xix; 1905, xix SE).
