Research library and index room, in numbered building 464 situated in the central area of the factory to the S of the main offices and research laboratory.

The library held index cards and cross-reference reports with reference books and journals all held in numbered and dated wooden cabinets. Many of the holdings were sent to ICI Headquarters in Australia in 1996.
