This farmstead, which comprises a building with outshots, a hut or pen, and an enclosure, is situated in rank heather and bracken-covered ground immediately SW of a forestry track. The building, which is set into the slope at its NE end, has rounded corners and is cut at its S corner by a later bank (see NT60NE 20.03); it measures 10m in length by 3.7m in breadth within stony banks spread to 1.6m in thickness and up to 0.5m in height with an entrance in the SW end. Joined to, and at right-angles to the NE end of the building, is a subsidiary building or outshot of two compartments, with no wall between it and the building; it measures 5.8m from NW to SE by 3m transversely within a stony bank spread to 1.7m in thickness and 0.4m in height with an entrance in its NE side into the NW compartment. The enclosure or yard lies to the NW and has a small hut or pen in its SE corner adjacent to one of its two entrances.
