There are at least two shieling-mounds situated on the valley floor on the N side of the Allt Slugain. The more easterly mound (955) measures 9m from NE to SW by 6.8m and 0.8m in height and appears to comprise two compartments, one larger than the other.

The more westerly mound (956) lies some 15m to the W of (955) and measures about 6m in diameter and 0.4m in height.
