NX97NE 57 97 76.

An upper quern stone, 16 ins in diameter, which came from a house above the Rainbow Stairs, High Street, Dumfries (NX 9776) was donated to Dumfries Museum in 1915 by John Jardine, town mason. (No 4 Union Street was at one time the "Rainbow Tavern"; Rainbow Stairs not located.)
