The site has been disturbed by the construction of a fence through the buildings and partially obscured by the dumping of stone beside the larger building. Otherwise, the wall-footings are well-defined.

It is assumed that this is a late 18th- or early 19th-century layout, reflecting the 'improvement' of Dupin. Those areas that remain of the pre-improvement landscape are on the steeper slopes or in areas with frequent rock outcrops and therefore unsuited to mechanised methods of cultivation.

Visited May 1993.
