Flints from East Morriston are in the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS, Accession No: BMA 2165-6). NMAS Mss Accessions list.

NT 610 421, 500ft OD. Microliths from East Morriston are listed.

H Mulholland 1970.

'Nine flints, one non flint, six retouched' from East Morriston are listed among chipped stone artefacts in Wilton Lodge Museum, Hawick (HAKMG 2907-2916).

Museum Catalogue (typescript, compiled 1981).

The various flints recorded from East Morriston are unlikely to have been found at the quoted location (NT 610 421), which is in a field of unimproved rig-and-furrow cultivation. It is probable that the quoted NGR was simply a convenient indicator of the location of East Morriston used by Mulholland in her publication.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS/RM) 30 September 1993.

H Mulholland 1970.
