This unenclosed settlement is situated in rough pasture on the SE shoulder of the undulating summit area of Scaw'd Law. It comprises at least two ring-ditch houses, the larger of which (Kale99 93) measures 12.5m in diameter over a ditch that varies in breadth from 0.8m to as much as 1.7m on the N, and is up to 0.3m in depth; the entrance is probably on the E. The second house (Kale99 94), which is situated to the NW, measures 7.2m in diameter over a shallow ditch 0.9m in breadth, and has a possible entrance on the W. Immediately NE of the first house and SE of the second respectively, there are low mounds, about 6m in diameter, which may be the central areas of two more houses. A Y-shaped sheep shelter constructed of turf, with traces of turf-stripping halos flanking its arms, lies to the NE of the settlement. The ground on the N has evidently been cultivated in low rigs.
