The cord rig on Shaw Craigs is visible on an OS air photograph (OS vertical air photograph 024/273, 1968) and has been transcribed on to an enlarged map overlay at 1:2500, but neither of the two patches of rig (NT 6720 0952 and 6736 0961) are visible on the ground due to afforestation and the rank vegetation.
