The cropmarks of two enclosures has been revealed by oblique aerial photography in a field 850m SE of Chapel on Leader (NT54SE 45). The larger enclosure measures about 45m E-W by 40m transversely with a rounded SE corner and a possible entrance in this corner. A square mark is visible internally (BW 2992-93, RCAHMS 1980). The enclosure shares a common boundary on its E side with a smaller square enclosure that measures about 25m across. This site was previously classified as an enclosure. There are a number of indeterminate cropmarks around the enclosures as well as other archaeological features recorded in the immediate area (NT54SE 4, NT54SE 37, NT54SE 56, NT54SE 57, NT54SE 58 ).

Information from RCAHMS (KJ) 13 August 1999.
